Faulty Items
Please see our Warranty section below. Faults must be reported within 2 days of receipt, with your order number and a clear image of the fault.
Warranty
All Saint Valentine jewellery purchased through our online store or retail boutiques is covered by a warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing faults and material defects that arise during normal use.
-
Standard pieces: 6 month warranty
-
Solid gold pieces: 12 month warranty
Saint Valentine pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. Please follow the care instructions provided on the product page and included with your purchase.
What’s Covered
Our warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials. Where a fault is confirmed, Saint Valentine will assess the item and, where appropriate, repair or replace it.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from accidental damage, misuse or improper care. This includes:
-
Loss or theft of jewellery
-
Accidental breakage, including chain breakage, kinking or stretching
-
Dents, scratches, marks or misshapen pieces, unless noted at the time of receipt
-
Discolouration, tarnishing or fading of plating (applicable to plated pieces)
-
Damage caused by improper storage or care
Normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault or defect.
Any resizing, repairs or alterations carried out by an external jeweller will void the warranty.
If your chain breaks, or your piece develops a fault outside the scope of this warranty, we’re often able to repair it for a fee. Please reach out and we’ll let you know if repair is possible.
Stone Settings
Our warranty covers the replacement of a piece where an embedded stone becomes dislodged due to a manufacturing or setting fault, for the life of the piece. This does not cover the loss of an entire charm or other component.
If the original piece has been discontinued and cannot be replaced, Saint Valentine may offer store credit to the value of the original purchase, where applicable.
Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Please contact our Customer Care team at hello@saintvalentinejewellery.com with your order number and details of the issue, or if you require any further information. Our customer care team will then be in contact with next steps and may require you to return your piece for assessment.
-
If the item is assessed and deemed faulty by our studio team and found to be repairable, it will be expertly restored and returned.
-
If repair is not possible, the piece will be replaced.
-
Only if a replacement is unavailable will store credit be issued.
-
If the item is not deemed faulty, it will be returned with postage costs to be covered by the customer.
Any repairs requested after the warranty period has expired may require a repair fee, and return postage costs to the customer.
