On Motherhood

@felicitymbird reflects on motherhood, how it’s shaped who she is, and the quiet way it flows through her personal style.

How do you spend your days now with the arrival of little Magnus?

Very simply. A slow morning at home, coffee in hand, Magnus in pyjamas, probably a walk somewhere green.
I’m really into marking moments without overcomplicating them. It’s about being present.

Are there any special moments or rituals you’re excited to make a family tradition now as a new mother?

I love the idea of something small and consistent each year, maybe a photo together in the same spot, or writing a little note to Magnus that I keep for him. Nothing performative, just meaningful.

How has becoming a mother shaped the way you see yourself?

It’s made me softer and stronger at the same time. I’m more decisive, more protective of my time, and clearer on what actually matters. It’s shifted my priorities in a way that feels grounding.
