How do you approach event dressing?
The first thing I always do is read the invite! it's so easy to fall in love with a look before finding out if it's actually event appropriate!
Which jewellery pieces are you drawn to?
I love any kind of earring which is stackable - it can add instant edge to a look. so i'm all about the Saint Valentine pearl stud styles.
How do you use jewellery to style your occasion looks?
Jewellery for me can make or break a look. One hard and fast rule in regards to jewellery I usually follow is from a Coco Chanel quote -
"Before leaving the house look in the mirror and take one piece off" - I usually find this helps elevate and fine tune a final look!
What styling advice would you give others for special occasion looks?
Less is more. It's very easy to want to add more, more, more when styling a look for an occasion. let either the jewellery or your look be the stand out. they shouldn't both be shouting "look at me!"
